B-Devils kiss Hershey Bears goodnight with comeback win

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- On Friday night, the Binghamton Devils won a thriller in overtime, knocking off one of the best teams in the AHL in the Hershey Bears.

Michael McLeod scored the game winning goal just 30 seconds into overtime.

The Bears struck first, with Tyler Lewington scoring less than three minutes into the game. The Bears added the second goal of the game with eight minutes to play in the first, on a power-play goal from Garrett Pilon.

The B-Devils scored before the end of the first period after Marian Studenic tipped in a pass from Egor Sharangovich. Jesper Boqvist tied the game at two in the second period on a power-play, before the Bears took the lead again on Pilon's second goal of the night.

With time winding down in the third period, Boqvist scored his second goal of the night to send the game to overtime. Cory Schneider made 28 saves in the win.
