(WBNG) -- Based in the Southern Tier, Galumpha is an acrobatic dance trio that performs lifts and balances that seem to defy gravity and reason.
President and Director of Galumpha, Andy Horowitz, started the show with his friends when they were in undergrad at Binghamton University. Now, 30 years later, they're still performing.
The trio has performed at 3,000 venues in 40 different countries and has won many awards along the way. Galumpha has created a new work of choreography in honor of Beethoven's 250th birthday which will be included in their upcoming performance.
Galumpha will perform for the Chenango Arts Council at the Martin W. Keppel Theater on Saturday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. The show is suitable for all ages. Visit their website or call 607-348-4044 for more information.
