WINDSOR (WBNG) -- Students became teachers at one local school district's science fair.

Windsor Central School held their 2nd Annual Science and Engineering Expo for 4th grade students and their families.

Kids got to share what they've been learning so far this school year through a dozen of hands-on learning stations, even including V.R. and robotic coding.

It was up to the students to run each station and teach the material back to their parents, teachers, and other guests.

"All the activities I basically have been loving," says seven-year-old Cassie Groome.

"Even though I'm not teaching, I still think that it would be pretty awesome just to be like teaching the teachers," says Daniel Brey.

The administration says allowing the students to take on the role of teacher gives them a much deeper understanding of the material they're learning.
