(WBNG) -- This week's winner of two thousand dollars from Upstate Shredding is the Endwell League of Community Action (ELOCA).
ELOCA is a non-profit in New York that dates back to 1971. The purpose of this organization is to serve and enrich the quality of life in the community through involvement. They support four scholarships for seniors, sponsor and organize summer concert series and art contests for students, provide winter coats for children in need in Endwell and sponsor low-cost Multiphasic Blood Analysis clinics for anyone in the community.
ELOCA also has a Community Benevolence Committee which supports local organizations such as Mom's House, Meals on Wheels, RISE, C.H.O.W., the American Cancer Society, and more.
The group meets from September through June on the first Thursday of every month. To find out more about the Endwell League of Community Action, search for them on their Facebook page or call 607-760-6501.
