NEW YORK (WBNG) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the number of COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the state has dropped to 410.
This number of hospitalizations is the lowest the state has seen since March 16.
The Governor also announced New York has seen 30 straight days where the rate of positive cases is below one percent.
"Our actions today determine the rate of infection tomorrow, so as the Labor Day weekend continues, I urge everyone to be smart so we don't see a spike in the weeks ahead," he said.
Officials reported 7 new positive cases in Broome County, and 1 new COVID related death.
