BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The seventh annual RoberCon will be held virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The online convention will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 26 and 27.
The event will take place in two spaces. The first space will be a workshop with special guests and speakers and panels hosted on Zoom. This can be accessed with a virtual badge. The second space will be a gaming, vendor room, movie watch party and fan group space hosted on Discord.
Virtual badges are $15 for the both days of the event. To purchase a badge, click here.
Organizers say they are excited to do things differently this year and to reach a new audience.
“This pandemic has meant a lot of us have had to get creative and we’re hoping to bring our own brand of RoberCon flair to the internet for a few days,” said organizer Natalie Shoemaker in a news release.
