NANTICOKE (WBNG) -- A school bus is damaged after going off the roadway on Pendell Hill Road in the town of Nanticoke Monday morning.

The New York State Police Department says an 8-year-old was on the bus and was evaluated on scene but they were not taken to the hospital.

The department says the bus driver, a 56-year-old female, was taken to Wilson Hospital for a complaint of pain. Additionally, they say a 37-year-old bus monitor suffered a cut to her head and was taken to Binghamton General for treatment.

No other vehicles were involved.
