Downtown Protest 0923
From Roderick Douglass on Facebook Live

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- A large group of protesters blocked off Court Street and brought traffic to a stop in downtown Binghamton Wednesday night.

Broadcasted on Facebook Live by Roderick Douglass, close to 100 protesters were locked arm-in-arm in front of Boscov's near the Court Street bridge. Many had candles, signs talking about Breonna Taylor, and were chanting "No Justice, No Peace."

They were there for about 15 minutes but have since left the street.

This is a developing story that we will continue to follow. Stay tuned for any updates.
