Saturday is a tough call with cloud and rain chances. Most of the area will be rain-free. With a south/southeast wind setting up, some clouds should develop for the afternoon. A sprinkle or shower is possible. The chance of rain is only 20% and we expect a lot more dry time/area than wet. Any rainfall will be light. Highs, as a result of the expected partly sunny skies, should stay in the upper 60s to low 70s. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s. Some low 80s are possible in the warmest valleys.
Monday could still bring a few occasional showers, but long dry stretches are currently expected. We're keeping the chance of rain in the forecast Monday at 40% and 60% Tuesday. Tuesday's cold front could bring heavy rain. Uncertainty exists in the timing of the front so this directly impacts the rain timing certainty level. The rain does look like it could possibly be heavy, though, so it would be very beneficial. Wednesday rain chances are at 40% with highs backing into the mid 60s. It still looks like the 1st day of October could be unsettled, too, with a 20% chance of rain and highs near 62.
