The first full weekend of fall is feeling a bit more like summer! Highs on Sunday are expected to top out in the upper 70s and low 80s in a few spots. Lows Sunday will be on the mild side, in the upper 50s and low 60s.
On Monday, we could see a few showers, but dry time seems to win out. Tuesday will bring our best chance for some much needed rainfall as a cold front passes through. We could even see some heavy rain which would be extremely beneficial, especially for areas that are experiencing drought conditions. After that cold front passes through, we cool down on Wednesday. Highs will drop back down into the low to mid 60s. A few showers will linger too, with the rain chances being 40% for Wednesday.
Thursday is October 1st, and it will be feeling much more like fall with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. We have a slight chance for a few showers both Thursday and Friday, but it is only a 20% chance. Highs stay cool through the end of the work week and into next weekend.
