ITHACA (WBNG) -- The Ithaca Police Department says one person is in serious condition after a rollover crash Saturday morning.
Ithaca Police Department, Ithaca Fire Department, and Bangs Ambulance responded to reports of a car crash at the intersection of Seneca St. and Plain St.
Once at the scene, police say they found a car flipped over with the driver, a 19-year-old male from Trumansburg, trapped inside.
Police say the Ithaca Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance were able to free the driver and he was taken to a regional trauma center.
Officials say the driver sustained head and neck injuries and was said to be in stable yet serious condition.
The crash also damaged two parked vehicles and shut down Seneca St. for seven hours. The street is now back open.
