(WBNG) -- The National Governors Association has submitted a list of questions to President Donald Trump's Administration on the effective implementation of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Questions to the President's Administration were submitted from both Republican and Democratic Governors across the United States.
The questions looked to gain a clearer sense of how to most effectively distribute and administer a COVID-19 vaccine when available.
The Governors said the massive undertaking of administering a vaccine for the virus needs significant planning and financial assistance between levels of government.
Questions posed by the National Governor's Association regarded funding for the administration of a vaccine, the allocation and supply, and requirements on communication and information.
Governor Cuomo said, "We are now releasing a compilation of questions from governors all across the country, Democratic and Republican, saying to the White House: how is this going to work? We need to answer these questions before the vaccine is available so that we are ready to go and no one is caught flat-footed when the time comes to vaccinate people."
