Forecast Discussion

Quiet weather will continue throughout the remainder of the evening. Clouds will begin to thicken as a cold front approaches the area. Lows tonight won't be as chilly as last night, staying in the 40s.

On Monday, the cold front will enter western New York in the morning and reach the Binghamton area by about mid-day. The northwestern portion of our viewing area will see the most rainfall tomorrow, with the southeastern portion seeing the least. The rain will start to break up overnight, but we'll see another round of rain for Tuesday morning. Tuesday's rainfall should come to an end around noon, then the rest of the day looks to stay dry. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will stay in the 50s.

By Wednesday, we're going to see a warm up. Highs will jump into the upper 60s to near 70. We also have the slight chance for a few showers on Wednesday afternoon. The chance for precipitation is 20%. Temperatures in the mid to upper 60s continue through the end of the work week.

Next weekend, temperatures will fall and become much more seasonable, in the 50s. Rain chances return to the forecast late in the day on Saturday.
