Better Business Bureau report shows who is most at risk for Covid-19 scams

(WBNG) -- New data from the Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker shows women and people ages 34 to 54 are most at risk to COVID-19 related scams.

Mask, employment, stimulus/grants/loans, and pets are among the most common types of scams listed.

According to the data, the top ways consumers are losing money is on websites, email and social media. The median amount of money lost per scam was $80.
