BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The Veterans Affairs Clinic in Binghamton is offering free drive thru flu shots every Tuesday through mid November.
The drive through format was adapted this year with the safety of both veterans and staff members in mind.
No appointment is necessary, veterans are able to pull up and get a flu shot.
The clinic is set up each Tuesday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
"The flu is always a dangerous disease, with COVID-19 now also in the mix we really really want all our veterans to get a flu shot to reduce their risk." said David Hunsinger the Medical Director at the VA clinic.
During the first two days of hosting this drive through clinic the VA has administered over 350 flu vaccinations.
