Forecast Discussion

The chance for some showers will stick with us through tonight. Lows tonight will be near 40 with some patchy fog. Tuesday will remain seasonably cool and mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 40s. We'll keep a slight chance for a few showers in the forecast too.

High pressure will temporarily build in on Wednesday giving us a pleasant day with a partly sunny skies and highs in the low 50s.

The main focus this week is on Thursday and Friday. Moisture from Hurricane Zeta is expected to merge with an area of low pressure Thursday through Friday. It looks like we'll see some rain move in late Thursday into Friday. As this storm exits the area, some models are showing some cooler air moving in, which would therefore bring us a shot at seeing some snowflakes to end the week. The good news is, we will warm back up by the weekend, so if any snow does come from the system, it won't stick around for too long. There is a bit of uncertainty in the forecast for the end of the work week, so stay tuned to 12 News throughout the week for updates.

Halloween on Saturday looks great for any safe Halloween plans you might have! We'll see mostly sunny skies with highs near 50. If you're planning on taking the kiddos out for some trick or treating once the sun sets, it will be a little chilly, with overnight lows dropping into the 30s.

Also, a reminder that on Sunday, Daylight Saving Time ends! Remember to set your clocks back before heading to bed on Saturday night. Sunday and Monday will bring partly sunny skies with highs near 50.
