(WBNG) - The Tri-State Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation is the winner of a two thousand dollar grant from Upstate Shredding for Southern Tier Tuesdays.
The mission of the Scleroderma Foundation is to support patients, educate the public and medical community about the disease, and to raise funds for research in order to find a cure.
Bruce Cowan, the Executive Director of the Tri-State Scleroderma Foundation, says Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease which hardens a persons skins and affect internal organs.
