(WBNG) -- Bright Hill Press and Literary Center of the Catskills is the winner of a two thousand dollar grant from Upstate Shredding for Southern Tier Tuesdays.
Bright Hill Press is now offering literary arts programming through their digital platforms. Word Thursdays, a public reading series over Zoom is live on their Facebook page. The series starts in February with special dates for Black History Month. In April the series will be live every second and fourth Thursday of the month.
The non-profit also offers literary and visual arts workshops for all ages. Beatrice Georgalidis, the Executive Director of Bright Hill Press, says the organization also has 8 art exhibits in their Word and Image Gallery.
Georgalidis says the two thousand dollar grant will help Bright Hill Press publish more books and digital programming. The funding will also help support their scholarship program.
