Self-care tips for the new year and navigating the stress of the pandemic

(WBNG) -- Focusing on self-care is important for starting your year of right and to navigate through all the stress of the pandemic.

Khieanne Dawson, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, says self-care allows the space to be rejuvenated in mind, body, and soul so people can better care for others and give from their abundance.

Dawson has five self-care tips that have worked for her in the past. Her self-care tips are: Forgive yourself and others, lay aside your worries, unleash your creativity, choose courage and love over fear and lastly, achieve balance in all areas of life.

Dawson is hosting a 5 Day Plant Based Reset of the mind, body, and soul, virtual group coaching program on Feb. 7 to Feb. 11 via Zoom and a private Facebook group. There will be an information session on Zoom on Thurs. Jan. 21.
