NEWARK (WBNG) -- Making his first start since March of 2020, Gilles Senn made 41 saves as the Binghamton Devils fell to the Hershey Bears, 2-1.
The B-Devils scored in the first period, marking the first game this season they scored before their opponent.
On a power play, Reilly Walsh went coast-to-coast to give the B-Devils the 1-0 lead.
The Bears answered in the second period, with Brett Leason tying the game at one.
Hershey's Damien Riat scored the eventual game-winning goal in the third.
Senn saved 41 of 43 shots in the loss.
"I was nervous in the start after such a long layoff and not playing games," said Senn. "You don't really know what to expect, if you still have the game feeling you can read the plays. But I think I had a pretty good start to the game and that game me a little bit of confidence."
The B-Devils travel to take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
