BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Despite the cold weather, the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways, Inc. held a safe and easy opportunity to get people's hands -- and gloves -- on some Girl Scout cookies.

Troop 30414 hosted a drive-thru cookie pick up today at the Binghamton Fluorescent located at 235 Main St. in Binghamton from 12 to 4 p.m.

12 News asked the girl scouts what their favorite part of being a troop was and the answers varied from selling cookies to winning prizes.

Yet all troops agreed that what they loved most was meeting new people.

The funds raised from the cookie sale stay local to support girl scout activities and programming.
