(WBNG/CBS) -- Authorities say Woods' injuries are non-life threatening.

He was the occupant of the vehicle when it rolled over.

(WBNG/AP) -- Tiger Woods' agent told media that he was in surgery for multiple leg injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities say.

ORINGINAL STORY:

(WBNG) -- According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Twitter account, pro-golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car crash Tuesday morning. Reports suggest Woods suffered serious leg injuries.

The Sheriff's Department says the "jaws of life" were used to get Woods out of the vehicle and that the car he was in sustained "major damage."

The department says the vehicle he was in rolled over on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.

The crash is under investigation.
