NEWARK (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Devils fell to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in overtime Wednesday night, marking the team's fourth straight loss.
After the Phantoms scored in the first period, Fabian Zetterlund tied the game just over six minutes into the game.
Lehigh Valley's Max Willman and Ran Fitzgerald scored back-to-back goals, giving the Phantoms the 3-1 lead heading into the second.
The B-Devils quickly worked to tie the game, with Nick Merkley and Danick Martel scoring goals within the first five minutes of the second period.
Merkley's goal was his first of the season as he was sent to the B-Devils from the taxi squad earlier this week. Martel's goal was his second of the year.
Nate Schnarr scored to give the B-Devils the lead in the third period, but Lehigh Valley's Linus Sandin got the puck by Evan Cormier to tie the game and eventually send it to overtime.
In overtime, Willman scored his second goal of the night to give the Phantoms the win.

The B-Devils host the Hershey Bears Friday at 7 p.m.
