(WBNG) -- While the Binghamton women's basketball season came to an early end, a pair of Bearcats were recognized by the America East.
Sophomore guard Denai Bowman was named first-team all-conference, and also was named to the all-defensive team.
Bowman is just the second Binghamton underclassman to be named first-team-all-conference.
Bowman ranked fourth in the America East in scoring this season, with 12.5 points per game. She also ranked third in steals with 2 per game.
Bowman scored 20 or more points in four games this season.
Senior forward Kaylee Wasco was named to the America East all-academic team. She is currently working on her master's degree.
Wasco averaged 10.1 points per game this season.
