(WBNG) -- The Rosemary Farm Sanctuary is the winner of a two-thousand dollar grant from Upstate Shredding through Southern Tier Tuesdays.
Rosemary Farm Sanctuary is one of the largest equine rescues in the Northeast.
The sanctuary helps horses, mules, and donkeys that are in need in the Catskills area.
Dawyn Robyn, the Founder of the Rosemary Farm Sanctuary, said the Southern Tier Tuesday grant will be used to help feed the animals, which is a huge part of the farms operating expense.
The Rosemary Farm Sanctuary also offers Summer Tours on Saturdays at 11 a.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
Robyn said adoptions are available for a portion of the horses and there are volunteer opportunities to learn about how to take care of the horses.
Rosemary Farm Sanctuary is located at 1646 Roses Brook Road, South Kortright, New York 13842.
