HARRISBURG (WBNG) -- Pennsylvania's Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam spoke Thursday on the progress the state is making to get residents vaccinated.
She said the state has fully vaccinated over 1.3 million people, and over 2.5 million have received their first dose.
Beam said the positive progress is a good sign. "That is proof that the pace of vaccinations is accelerating here. Let me be clear, we have a very long and challenging road ahead of us," she said.
