(WBNG) -- Northside Mutual Aid is the winner of a two-thousand dollar grant from Upstate Shredding through Southern Tier Tuesdays.
Northside Mutual Aid is a donation and grant based collective that strives to keep the community safe by distributing food, clothes, diapers, formula, blankets, and necessities to people in need, without restrictions.
The nonprofit has shelves outside the Citizen Action building, where donations can be dropped off and people in need can grab items.
If you would like to donate items, the drop off location is at 477 State Street in Binghamton.
Northside Mutual Aid is looking for people to volunteer as delivery drivers.
