B-Devils fall in overtime to Penguins

(WBNG) -- The Binghamton Devils picked up a point Wednesday night but fell in overtime to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 3-2.

Nolan Foote scored with time winding down in the third period to force OT, but with 17 seconds left on the clock in the extra period, Jordy Bellerive got a shot by Gilles Senn for the win.

The B-Devils took an early 1-0 lead after Graeme Clarke scored his fifth goal of the season just 28 seconds into the game.

The Penguins scored late in the first to tie the game and took the lead in the second period on a power play.

Senn made 40 saves in the loss.

B-Devils - 2, (3-7-4-1), Penguins - 3 (6-7-3-1) (OT)

The B-Devils visit the Hershey Bears Saturday at 1 p.m.
