(WBNG) -- Starting Monday, New York State's 11 p.m. curfew has been lifted for some establishments.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says the curfew has been lifted for casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys, gyms and fitness centers.

However, the state's 11 p.m. curfew for bars and restaurants and the midnight curfew for catered events remains in effect.

Cuomo says the state is evaluating those curfews and will make an announcement later in April.
