(WBNG) -- Ross Corners Christian Academy is this week's winner of a two-thousand dollar grant from Upstate Shredding through Southern Tier Tuesdays.
The school is a private, faith-based instutition established in 1960 and located in Vestal, NY.
Even though Ross Corners has been able to operate in-person, five days a week since September, School Administrator, Jennifer Chase, says the impact of the pandemic has been challenging for the academy.
Chase also says that she credits the school's teachers with their creativity and dedication to the children, calling them the "A Team."
Ross Corners Christian Academy will use the grant to for their scholarhship oppurtunity fund and also say they hope to use some of it to gift their teachers.
