Crews work to remove small plane without landing gear from Binghamton airport

TOWN OF MAINE (WBNG) -- Commissioner of Aviation Mark Heefner told 12 News a small plane had landed on its belly without landing gear at the Binghamton Airport.

Broome County Dispatchers say there are no injuries or fires involved in the incident They say there were two passengers on the plane.

The airport's fire crews are handling the situation, dispatchers say.

12 News has a crew on the way to the scene.
