(WBNG) -- After a year that caused financial hardship for so many, there's relief headed towards renters.
The Emergency Rental Assistance Program will provide up to 12 months of back rent payments directly to landlords for tenants. Utility payments are also included.

The state-wide eviction moratorium for residents has been extended until August.
