Arrest made following Kirkwood Mirabito robbery

(WBNG) -- The Broome County Sheriff's Office said Monday that it made an arrest in an investigation into a robbery at a Mirabito gas station in Kirkwood.

According to a news release, the sheriff's office arrested 19-year-old Jamar F. Gilmore of Endicott with robbery in the first degree, a class B felony and menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Authorities said Gilmore is accused of committing the robbery that occurred at the Mirabito gas station on Upper Court Street on June 2 around 2:20 a.m.

They said a gun was pointed at the cashier during the robbery.

Gilmore was processed for arrest and remanded to the Broome County Sheriff's Correctional Facility.
