BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Early voting Centers opened June 12 in the Southern Tier.
Broome County residents can cast their ballots for the Primary Election at one of two early voting centers, the Oakdale Mall and the Broome County Public Library.
Republican Commissioner for the Broome County Board of Elections mark Smith says that it's important for residents to cast their vote.
"It's important for voters to cast their vote for a candidate they feel will do the best job and represent them to the best of their ability," he said. "It's very important to get out to vote whether it's during early voting or whether it's through an absentee or if it's on actual election day."
Early voting is happening until June 20th.
Election day is June 22nd.
