BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- BOCES' Career Development Center held its second "Signing Day" Friday.

62 local students signed ceremonial contracts for local company jobs and other organizations after their graduation.

Their goal is to recognize graduating and technically-trained seniors entering the workforce directly after high school.

There were two signing sessions with 31 students in each. The first one was held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Session two was from noon to 1 p.m. The signings were held in the BOCES gymnasium.

Student Austin Hand says he thinks a lot of people should use BOCES as an opportunity to do what they want in life.
