YMCA of Broome County to host charitable golf tournament. Details here


JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- The YMCA of Broome County will host its 16th Annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 3.

The tournament will be held at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City. It is open to individuals and businesses. Organizers said anyone over the age of 16 may participate.

Organizers noted that the format for the tournament is captain and crew with two flights playing at 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. You may register as an individual or a foursome. Individual registration is $100 per person and corporate registration is available for $550.

Proceeds from the Tournament will go to the Annual Campaign for the YMCA of Broome County. Which helps provide lower-cost membership opportunities to individuals and families in Broome County that are in need. It also provides scholarships for youth sports programs such as youth sports, swim lessons child care and summer camps.

Individual registration includes:

  • Lunch or dinner
  • Beverages
  • Snacks
  • 18 holes of golf with cart
  • Players gift bag
  • Tournament golf polo
  • Access to on-course contests

Corporate registration includes:

  • Entry for 4 players
  • Tee sign
  • Acknowledgement in event program
  • Lunch or dinner
