JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Broome County for their final Ag & Art Night Market of the summer.
"This is a market that we've been running once a month on the third Thursday of the month and it's really fun," Cornell Cooperative Extension Events Coordinator Molly McManus said. "We have 30 local vendors, we have some great food options like Happy Puppy Arepas our Taste NY store is open late we have live music and you can even sip and shop courtesy of New Leaf Cider Company."
The Ag & Art Night Market will be held Sept. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Broome County Regional Farmers Market.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension is also set to host their 11th Annual Fresh Food Face-Off on Sept. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Agricultural Economic Development Specialist Laura Biasillo said this event serves are an annual signature fundraiser.
"It really has a triple-bottom-line support," Biasillo said. "It's supporting local food because the chefs are shopping at the farmers market for the ingredients that they'll be using , it supports local chefs because were partnering with eight local restaurants and two bakeries to provide the tastings and then it supports the great work the Cornell Cooperative Extension does in the community."
