Rosanne Vermilya is a woman who lives in Endicott and each year she sets up her Christmas Village collection in her home for friends and family to enjoy.

The collection started after her and her husband, Willy, went to Skaneateles and went into the shops there and bought a Christmas village. Since then, they’ve gone to places in Norwich and every time they see one in a store or online, they normally buy it.

It’s taken almost ten years to build up the collection of over 40 villages that are now displayed throughout their finished basement. It takes the couple almost two weeks to set up the display that includes the villages, Christmas trees and train.

It’s even inspired some friends to do the same thing with their Christmas Villages. It’s a fun family tradition that Rosanne plans to continue.
