The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This is the 20th anniversary of the walk.
The walk is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, including the Southern Tier. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Fundraising dollars fuel the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, participants are encouraged to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be on Saturday, April 27 at Binghamton University, West Gym. Registration beings at 8:45 a.m., the ceremony is at 10 a.m. and the walk is at 10:30 a.m.
