The Teen Jazz Project is a community based jazz program devoted to promoting live jazz music.

The group believes that music is an essential part of any thriving community. To this end it is offering an opportunity for up and coming teen musicians in the community to learn from experienced musicians and music educators. The directors and mentors involved in this project hope to pass along a love for jazz music to the next generation.

Any teen instrumentalist or vocalist ages 13 to 19 is welcome to audition this includes piano, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, drum set, bass, guitar and more.

The Teen Jazz Project Performance will be Wednesday, April 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage. Get tickets through the Teen Jazz Project Facebook.
