Cornell Cooperative Extension Broome County invites you to experience farms and agriculture in your community with hands on experience.

Every fall and spring, farms open their doors to people in the community to learn more about farming and what’s happening right in their backyards. Taste local produce, plant seeds, meet and greet farm animals, and learn about the importance of agriculture in the area.

Come out and visit local farms throughout Broome, Tioga and Chenango counties.

Farms open on Saturday include:
Hust Roost Farm
Broome County Regional Farmers Market
Taste NY – Broome County
Old Barn Market

Farms open Saturday and Sunday:
Country Wagon Produce
Nyala Farm alpacas and sheep
JADA Hill Farm, LLC.
Catskill Cattle Company
Kimberly’s Greenhouses
Lone Maple Farm

The Spring 2019 Farm Weekend will be May 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Farms will open their doors to the public with tours, hands-on activities and more.  Check out the flier with a list of all the participating farms or print this listing of farms online.
