AKC Sanctioned Hickories Circuit Dog Show happening in Apalachin

The Susque-Nango Kennel Club and the Tioga County Kennel Club are presenting the AKC sanctioned Hickories Circuit Dog Show.

Bring the family and see more than 700 dogs and more than 125 different dog breeds each day competing for Best in Show.

There will be great dog related vendors and shopping for you and your dog, merchandise raffles, exhibitor/spectator complimentary hospitality tent and Roger’s Roaming Restaurant on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

There will also be a Pee Wee Junior Handler special attraction. The children who’d like to compete must be between the ages of five and nine years old. The dog must be at least four months of age to enter. A limit of 20 children will be allowed to enter the class. This event is free of charge. Click here for more information about this event.

Judges will be Margaret Rogan and Rodney Herner.

The Hickories Circuit Dog Show runs Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 18, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Apalachin Firemen’s Field Day Grounds. There is free parking and admission.

The Pee Wee Competition is on Thursday and Friday for kids aged 5 to 9.
