Lyceum, a lifelong Learning Institute, is designed to meet the educational and social enrichment needs of adults age 50 and more, with a wide range of classes and no exams or grades.

Scientific research now reveals that a challenged, stimulated brain may well be the key to a vibrant later life, lifelong learning provides a way to enrich your life and to continue to be active and engaged.

Lyceum offers around 100 courses a year and covers a wide range of subjects. There are also field trips, dinners, special lectures and cultural events. Something for everyone.

Binghamton University Lyceum classes and kickoff will be on Wednesday, September 11. The kickoff is free to the public, but you must register by September 6.

You can get more information by calling 777-2587 or emailing lyceum@binghamton.edu.
