How you can weigh in on Ross Park entrance renovations

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The community is invited to provide input on renovations to the old Ross Park entrance on Saturday.

Cornell University Design Connect will hold a public design forum on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Binghamton Zoo parking lot.

The team is planning the redevelopment of the former main entrance to Ross Park, which is located on Park Avenue.

The entrance had served as the main gateway since the park opened in 1875, until the main entrance was moved to Morgan Road to accommodate the growing popularity of automobiles in the early twentieth century.
