Early-morning fire in Binghamton

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Fire officials say an early-morning fire broke out in Binghamton Thursday.

Binghamton police say the fire happened at 129 Susquehanna St. The property is one of two that were raided on Tuesday by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.

According to the Binghamton Fire Chief, the fire broke out on the second and third floors. Several people were inside when the fire started. All made it out. There are no reported injuries.

The fire was out when our 12 News crew arrived at the scene around 6:15 a.m.

A cause is unknown at this time.
