Binghamton Police investigating reports of shots fired

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Binghamton Police are investigating reports of shots fired on Chapin Street Sunday night.

Binghamton Police say no injuries have been reported.

A 12 News crew at the scene says officers were canvasing the area of Chapin Street. The street has been closed off between North and Main Streets.

Authorities at the scene tell 12 News one car is being taken into evidence.

As of 8 p.m. police say they did not have anyone in custody.
