Three Binghamton adults, two teens arrested in Tuesday drug bust

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Five people face charges following a drug bust by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.

Investigators and SWAT executed search warrants at 127 and 129 Susquehanna Street on Tuesday.

Authorities say they found several knotted wraps of cocaine, more than $800, marijuana, and drug packaging materials.

The following face charges:

Caros Ramsey, 54, Binghamton

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony
  • Tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony
  • Two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
  • Second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
  • Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation

Reynaldo Santiago, 48, Binghamton (No picture available)

  • Second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor

Rosa Alicea, 35, Binghamton (No picture available)

  • Second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor

17-year-old male, Binghamton

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony
  • Third-degree sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony
  • Second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor

18-year-old male, Binghamton

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony
  • Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony
  • Two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
  • Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation

Ramsey was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and sent to the Broome County Jail. Alicea and Santiago were issued appearance tickets returnable to Binghamton City Court.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force was assisted by the Metro SWAT Team, Broome County SWAT Team, Binghamton Police K-9 Unit, Broome County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Village of Johnson City C.A.T. Team, and Binghamton Police Community Response Team.
