Uncle Tony’s Tavern equipment up for auction Saturday

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Dozens of items, including coolers, televisions, and plenty of other restaurant equipment from the recently-closed Uncle Tony’s Tavern are available to the highest bidders this weekend.

The auction, which Mel Manasse & Sons Auctioneers will run, takes place Saturday at 79 State St. in Binghamton, where the bar once called home.

The auction begins at 10:30 a.m., but people can preview the available items beginning at 9 a.m.

Uncle Tony’s closed at the end of 2018. The restaurant’s namesake and founder, Tony Basti, passed away in November.
