ENDICOTT (WBNG) — People in our area were rocking out for a good cause on Friday night at the ‘Rock for Recovery’ concert.
The concert was held at the Endicott Performing Arts Center. All money raised benefitted Helio Health, whose mission is to promote recovery from the effects of substance abuse and mental health disorders.
12 News caught up with the president and CEO of Helio Health ahead of the concert.
“What they’re going to see is some inspiring stories, what’s awesome about a life of recovery and they’re just going to have a chance to connect with other people who support recovery and raise awareness,” Jeremy Klemanski said.
‘Rock for Recovery’ featured the following bands: Los New Yorkers, Natural Born Kissers, Late Earth, and Molina.
‘Rock for Recovery’ will continue to tour on March 22 in Rochester and March 29 in Syracuse.
