BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Students from Chenango Valley High School volunteered their time at the Discovery Center Friday.

The students worked at the center’s Story Garden to clean it up.

They are a part of the school’s interact club, a student service club that collaborates with the Hillcrest Rotary. It’s Chenango Valley’s largest student organization with 100 members.

Students did many tasks today to clean up the garden, “We’ve been cleaning the tree house over there, and we’ve been raking, putting down new mulch all over the garden to make it look nice,” said Junior Dom Lomonaco

After they finished up at the Discovery Center, the students went over to volunteer their time at Mom’s House in Johnson City.
